Sunday Part 2: Lunch

After the church service we loaded up the van and headed into the outskirts of Kampala for lunch.  Our driver, Baker, took us to Le Petit, a French Bistro, done Ugandan style.  The open air room faced the street and we were able to watch the busy traffic racing by.  Everyone here seems to be on the move.  There are lots of cars, matatus (van type buses), boda bodas (small motor bikes, which are also used as taxis), bikes and of course lots and lots of people on foot.  Many of us ordered tilapia, a common fish in the area, but we also saw Nile Perch on the menu.  Lunch was good and food was plentiful.  So plentiful in fact that Alison, on the right front, fed some of it to a feral cat hiding in the ceiling.  I wonder if she will share her lunch with the lions in Murchison Park next weekend?

Here is the 12 person team out for lunch.  Here we are joined by Sarah Komugisha, our Buy-a-Net Ugandan administrator and Baker, our driver.
