Elementary Teachers Save Lives!

As you know, on Tuesday, February 14th, the Buy-a-Net team set out to register households for malaria net distribution.  Malaria is the number one killer of people in Uganda and the people most at risk are pregnant women and children under 5.  Last spring I asked out local executive to support Buy-a-Net's efforts to educate, treat and eliminate malaria.  The executive approved a $500 donation.  This generous donation will likely save many lives in the Kawempe district and in other areas throughout Uganda.  On behalf of the Buy-a-Net team I would like to say, "Thank you" to the Federation and its wonderful members!
